Axis Deer Hide

Bring authentic natural character into a Western, ranch, lodge, or rustic interior with a genuine Axis Deer Hide. Known for its rich brown coloring and distinctive white spotting, every hide has its own individual pattern, coloration, and markings.

Axis deer hides are offered in one 3' x 3' size and two grades depending on the intended use:

Upholstery Grade: Selected for cleaner usable areas throughout the hide and should not contain repair patches running along the center or spine. This grade is the better choice for projects where the hide will be cut, sewn, or incorporated into furnishings, including pillows, upholstery, furniture accents, and other custom applications.

Non-Upholstery Grade: These hides may contain repair patches along the spine or center of the hide. They retain the beautiful natural Axis deer pattern and work especially well as decorative hides, floor accents, wall displays, layering pieces, and other applications where the patched areas are acceptable.

Because these are genuine natural hides, color, shape, size, spotting, markings, and pattern placement will vary from hide to hide. These natural differences are part of what makes every piece unique.
